The indian stock markets tumbled by over 20% in the month of May 2008 due to the foreign investors pulling out of the developing countries in a hurry. The billions of losses being made by all the leading investment bankers and the need to protect their US home market businesses, they are fast winding up their investments in India and China. Financial experts feel that this might continue for some more period.
