artificial soy sauce

Last week i saw on korea tv how to make artificial soy sauce that they showed how they prepared one in 4 days using chemicals and 9 ingredients including defatted soy flour and Hydrochloric Acid. I was surprised to see that the resultant one tasted exactly like fermented one! It looks like people prefer artificial to fermented or brewed these days and it’s the artificial soysauce that’s available in the super market these days that’s been selling so well in korea, US and Canada!
